No miss. Forever smoke. Not like the typical chevy valve guide smoke--which clears right up. The smoke seemed to get worse with new plugs and fresh oil, but that might not be true. Cyls 2 and 3 burn cleaner. I do recall starting it once and got no smoke for a bit. I don't know if that happens every time. I'll check on it. I'm likely going to pull the head and check it out, but just hate messing with the sheetmetal. The compression readings were 135-150. Did you see my post about the lathe? No extra gears so I'm stuck as far as threads go, but it'll be handy for lots of other stuff. Especially sloppy ole farm stuff.
