Both Meridian and 431 opened around 1964. I worked at Terry Airport in 1969 and 1970. Ray VanSickle had a Farmall Cub with a flail mower that I used to cut the approaches and the grass parking area. Great little tractor!! He had a Ford 8N with a bushhog I used to cut the old grass runway. I got my private license while I was there.
