John In IA your are right on the kik back shut off engine with main clutch disingaged and no problems. But you did not answer the question about if TA works in 5th gear but your are wrong about coasting in TA as far as doing damage shafting the TA in or out going down hill can harm the TA. A farmer I know with a 560 with mounted picker and load of corn pulled the TA lever going down hill and blew the TA 7" clutch out the top of the housing. I am man enough to say I was wrong about the kik back. You wrong about coating down hill now we even. If you found part of your clutch facing gown after your mishap your clutch was about out anyway. That being said I do know 560D's with over 100 horse that went long time on one TA the Myths most be what takes them out
