300 starter - pffft

Ok, got myself stuck in a snowbank this afternoon & stalled my IH 300. Turned the key to restart, and it went Pffft! Click. Click. .... Click. The clicks are pretty quiet, and not too many of them. Mostly just all quiet now.

So, selinoid? Starter? Cable along the way?

Background: Had the engine rebuilt last spring, and the engine is quite tight. I said to myself, this is going to cost me a starter rebuild in a while! Good news is that the engine now fires up quick, got it going on the first crank with a little elbow work. Oh, original 6 volt system.
