Scott, i know this is obvious but i'm not claiming to be an expert. as the other post stated anytime the temperature of the fluid or metal is below the dewpoint of the air, you get water. raining and washing also. if the tractor is not run hard and for hours, to get the temperature up, it will not evaporate the moisture. so it collects. Now the moisture will emulsify with the oil and generally make a higher viscous fluid (slower/harder to pump) and recks the lubrication and rust fighting properties of the fluid. additives in some oils help. with freezing temps, well you know what happens.
