Assuming everything is greased and oiled:

I have one that was rolled and bent the steering wheel support arm slightly. that bowed the steering shaft and made it steer hard.

Also saw an A which someone had pounded on the inside of one axle end trying to spread the axle. The dented tube restricted the spindle and caused hard steering.

Pittman arm may be bent from hitting a tree and dragging on the housing.
