Thanks for help from the crawler forum! I found the studs for the R2 in California. Bought four just in case. I plan on removing the broken stud and also its mate because of the rapping it must have received while supporting the rocker arm shaft by itself. I have a plan for installing the two replacement studs. I do not want to reset any valves if I don't have to. I plan on tightening the two at the same time making sure not too break any parts. Is this advised? What is the torque on the bracket nuts? If resetting the valves, which one is which-intake-exhaust. I have the clearances in the operators manual. Thanks for the help! Mr. T. Minnesota
