1937 Experimental Ford Tractor

 | | This tractor built in 1937 was designed by Howard Simpson a Ford engineer of that day. The design interested Henry Ford very much. This experimental tractor was powered by a V8 engine, and with front wheels, lights, radiator, hood and steering components taken from the Ford car and truck productions lines. In 1982 this tractor was put up for auction by the Ford Museum and was sold to a private collector. One would wonder why such a rare Ford tractor would have been sold. Submitted by Gary, from OH |
