1954 Vewema KDW 415 E Antique Tractor
 | | The import of the Vewema tractor to Holland was a initiative of the Dutch Ford dealers. They wanted to add two lightweight diesel tractors to their product range. The smallest type had a vertical air-cooled one cylinder 4 stroke engine (MWN type AKD 12 E. Volume ; 905 cm2) or a water-cooled KD 12 E with a volume of 850 cm2. Both engines had 12 horsepower at 1980 rpm. The larger type was equipped with a water-cooled one cylinder MWM-diesel engine, type KDW 415 E with a volume off 1180 cm2 and had 15 horsepower at 1580 rpm. 61 Vewema tractors were imported between 1953 and 1954. The picture shows the type KDW 415 E. Submitted by Piet Jansen from Holland (Europe) |
