Sunflower harvest

Hi All,
I grew a couple acres of sunflower and am now looking at ways to harvest. I don't want to mess with our big combine. Has anyone ever tried to modify an old pull
behind combine to harvest sunflowers?

Ac 72 all harvest
My son run half an acre (estimate ) I wasnt there ,so many details other he did it . Seed was surprised to clean and little seed breakage

You get an evening to relax ,there a you tube videos of ac pull type combine with sunflower header .might get some ideas .
I was surprised my son got it working with out cylinders adjusting . But it did have some flower base material in the hopper . I dont know if that always ha or adjusting will eliminate.
Im sure other manufacturers combine will do it. Older machines are more heavy duty in my opinion. So dont be afraid of that option. I just dont know anything about ther capabilities ,only know AC and IH
