Hyd fluid and hay

I know stuff happens and this is prob a dumb question.. But what do you all do if you have a hyd leak while you were cutting hay.. bale it.. dispose... take to sale barn.. etc.

How much oil is to much oil.. lol

Since I have old equipment with slower pumps, I wouldnt expect to see more than a flake of hay affected.

I wouldnt be too concerned about it. Id be inclined to let the affected hay lay and not put in a bale of course. But, I wouldnt lose sleep over it.

What are we talking here, a 5 gallon spill in one place or a drizzling hose for a round? The big spill, I'd rake around it, but some minor mishap, I wouldn't single it out.

ya it was a drizzle along a large field mainly at ends when I lifted swather.. I baled it didnt see much shiny stuff so think fine..or at least may have a bitter taste in some bales

Had one yesterday, didn't notice until we got done. Probably got baled up.
