Can I pull a 4 row no till planter with my Ford 861?
I know she has pulled an antique 4 row planter after tillage. I don't know if going no till would be pushing it. If it's doable but marginal, borrowing a tractor is an option. But we all know how busy it is at planting season.
Can she pull a no till drill? My county has a LP 606NT that's 9 openers at 7.5 inch spacing. They are claiming it requires a 40 horsepower. Of course the horsepower rating on old Fords is part folklore and part fuzzy math so I didn't know what to tell the conservation officer.
Looking for advice, perspective, experience.
