Haybine

Hello,

I have a 60 HP Massey Ferguson. I was wondering what size haybine my tractor can run and pull?

9ft haybine (sickle machine) would be a good match. If wanting a disc mower type machine, 7ft would be about all you could handle.

I used to pull a 12' New Holland 490, with the 3010 john deere about 55 hp.

I pulled a NH460 12 footer behind my Oliver 77 and it played with it. The 77 as per the Neb. test is 38HP

I thought NH 460 Haybine only came in 9' model. I utilize a 64 pto hp tractor to pull a 9' disc cutter.

We pull a 1219 JD mower conditioner. A 50 engine hp. JD COMPACT tractor is plenty. Oh it is 9ft.

NH460 I have is 12 foot wide but a 9 foot cut

1465 new holland is a nice haybine and 60 hp will run in fine.
