Looks like it's time to shut this particular forum down until spring. LOL

Been pretty quiet down here. Where's Animal,he could always keep things going here?

All the forums have slowed way down from what they where say 10 years ago.

As for Animal he has pretty much been AWOL for a long time. I have seen him pop in with one post now and then but that is it. Last I heard he was getting pretty bad off health wise

for old times sake

A number of years ago there was a tractor dealer not all that far from me but in the middle Mennonite area. They would get in brand new tractors and before they left the lot the tires where removed and steel wheel put on. Always looked odd to a tractor with almost zero hour on them sitting on steel wheels and even odder is seeing two of the same model but one with rubber tires an the one right beside it on steel

You see fairly new FWA Deeres and New Hollands right around home here with steel all the way around. They even use steel on their riding mowers.

Years ago back when I had a IH TD6 I went to a place to get some parts for it. I noticed a kid out in a field on a D-4 cat. Kid was around 8 years old and they where Mennonite's They did most of there farming with crawlers and when they went to town it was in a horse and buggy set up

The Mennonite that I get my seed corn from has a fixation with crawlers. He has some early ones, later ones and even one out of Oregon wheat country with a cab on it. He said that when you buy something because you want it,not because you need it,that makes you a collector. LOL
