Racoons in the corn

I've been having to chop some corn every few days since the bunker silo is empty. When I chopped Monday, this corn was standing perfect, not a sign of any wildlife damage. When I rounded the corner this morning (Thursday),this is what I found. All this damage in just three days. We left them a little beverage to go with their corn,so hopefully they'll get thirsty and it won't get much worse. Unbelievable they could do this much damage in so little time.

Same problem here. They take out half an acre where the other farm borders a county Bush. Then the deer go and lay in it. But the marijuana planters have reduced their number somewhat....maybe the coons were getting into their interplanted crop!?

That's deer damage not coons. When I raised milo I had the same problem. Deer would nest down in the milo every
night in a different spot.

I think the deer lay on it after it's down, but I don't think they took it down. On down around the outside of the field it's pulled down in a few spots too but just on the outside row and only for a few feet. I'm not gonna get in to detail about what happened to them, but there's a few dead coons laying back there in it now.

I had coon problem this year. I put a radio out in the patch. I tried to find the most annoying station to play and ended up with a talk sports station. It kept them away without a problem. They are pretty smart. I worried I would get up in the morning and come out and they would have changed it to dance music and would have had a good time.
