Bahia Grass seed

Just a question: Does anyone combine Bahia grass seed and sell to a seed company? I have some pretty thick Bahia and was wondering if I combine it, could I sell it? I'm in central Arkansas, is there a market for it? thanks

I have tried without success to combine Bahia grass seed. Never could shut enough air off to keep from blowing seed out with the chaff.
My combines are set up for rice so I presume there is a type that will combine Bahia seed.

I have an old AC allcrop model 72 that I can use. I have had some success in the past with it. I usually cut the Bahia for hay. But, I thought if I can find someone to buy the seed, it might be worth combining and drying/cleaning. I'm just asking around if anyone knows of a market for it. I could try FB or CL but figured that would be a shot in the dark. Would like to have a little more solid buyer.

I would advertise local and give the prospective buyer a chance to look at your field before you combine it.

Most people on a commercial level will want certified seed. Lots of junk for sale on the web branded as Argentine or Pensacola Bahia.

Perhaps contact one of the seed providers and see if they will take you on as supplier?

Helena Chemical out of Arkansas may can get a seed buyer to contact you.

Is your strain of Bahia grass a planted or volunteer variety? If the volunteer variety I apply Glyphosate in an attempt to control it in my Coastal fields
