My nephew planted some fingerling potatoes ,we bought a small bag of them from the food store,,think they will grow?Or do they spray stuff on them to keep them from sprouting?

They used to spray them. I can't say if they do anymore or not.

All the potatoes we have bought from store will sprout if not used in a reasonable time.

Ya,a lot of them do here too. I don't know if you'd get a high enough percentage if you used them for seed or not.

Time will tell . You?re early enough to try it again if they don?t grow . I planted potatoes here August 25 one time they got a little bigger than golf balls buy the time they froze that?s a perfect size for boiling with the hides on
