Did you say that the dealer wrapped your upper drive roller with traction tape? I had another go round with the 554 last night, want to make sure which roller to wrap.

We put a traction tape under the two big belts on the upper roller. It made a big difference, but I still managed to plug it up twice. I would like them to show me how in the he11 this thing would wrap silage! I hope you are getting this rain we are getting this morning, we sure needed it. Have you started your wheat yet, and how do you like the combine? I am supposed to get a 1240 this fall. 90 degrees and no a/c makes my combining a real job. But I am getting it done..

We have missed the rains up to this point. Wheat is all out, averaged 43 bpa the combine did well. It was nice to be out of the dust. Glad to here you got some rain.
