Clamp on rims

I found a set of 38" DMI rims off a Farmall M. I want to add those as duals. Will those work on my Ford 6610 with spin out rims? The owner has all the clamps to go with it.

I don't see any reason they wouldn't work. Did you get the eyes to go along with the clamps? This pic is probably too far away to see the eyes bolted to the centers, but they're in there.
Make sure to run the duals at a lower pressure than the prime tires... The sticker on mine says to run 2/3 the pressure of the prime tire.

David;

I haven't follow all the responses to your post,BUT power shift wheels require a different method of securing the inner ends of the wheel hooks. The eyenut hooks will not work. Two methods typically used to secure the hooks is to weld a J-hook to the outside of the power shift rail, the other is a bolt on loop secured with set screws to hok the draw bolts to.

Your wheels are 6 rail wheels and 4 hooks are usually used, so the loops or snap on clamps are welded on to match these.

Another and simpler way is to use what are called over-the-rim clamp that require no welded bracket on the dual wheel rim. They locate on the outside of the rim next to the tire bead. They can be located anywhere on the wheel.

You don't mention the wheel spacer ring required to locate the dual wheel out from the main tire.

I can get you some pictures of my dual setup and also the bolt on rail loops. email is open.

On my D17, I simply hooked the J-bolt over the end of the Power Shift rail and tightened it. No need to weld, drill, anything. Another option is to drill holes in the wheel centers to attach eye rings.

Really? I know they're hard to see in the picture, but I'm using the eye nuts on my Ford 7600 and 7000... with power adjust rims. Put them on my TW35 with p/a rims two years ago also.

The eye nuts set at a different location and makes it so the snap over lever will not flip over far enough to stay clamped on the 65 & 68 4000 (4100) and the 68 5000(5100). now if you are using the hooks with the nut to tighten then yes they will work.
