Light Switch Needed

I've been attempting to fix the lights on my little Case IH 255 compact tractor. I think I have things tracked down to the switch being the problem. The switch, part no. 1271718C1 is $63 from Case. Also, the turn/hazard light switch is bad as well, but is $162. Is there somewhere I can get the same switches for a slightly more affordable price?

I ran into the same problem with my NH 1400 combine - the headlight switch was over $100. Bought a switch with an appropriate amp rating from my local CarQuest for less than 1/10 NH's price. Not the same switch, but it works just fine. Put it in the same hole in the dash.

I"m thinking the warning light switch may have the flasher unit built right into it.

That"s the way it is on my 1086.

So you may have to get a flasher of some kind as well for your warning lites if you go with another type switch.

Try Granger,..they have tons of toggle switches and other switches also. www.granger.com
