It happened on a friday w/pix.

Well it all came together yesterday. Son took the 706 to a horse farm down the road 3 mi one way. Loaded up the hay wagon with manure, two trips and now were waiting on black dirt. weight restrictions are off the roads now so Monday when the pit opens. we will order un-screed black dirt. Will have 22 tons delivered. cant grow much in gravel pits with out the dirt. lol.Pictures will give you something to gaze at.Now its on to the other side of the homestead to finish dozing the secondary lateral(septic)which just may come in handy some day. Until then it's gonna be a garden spot. Raining slightly today so it's a much needed rest day for Victor. Still have some bordering to do on the first site. to hold the sand back. Hope we don't bore you with the pictures.Last Pictures of the LILAC BUSHES was a SNAP (before they were moved )with the spade affair we ordered from Northern Tool. Now that thing works slick. Digs trenches 2 ft deep. moves trees and plants with no problem. Sure would recommend that with out hesitation. regards LOU & VICTOR.

That looks good LOU. my wife would love to have a garden that size but we just don't have the time to take care of one that big. i love that crawler you have and of course since i bleed red i love that good looking 706.

Have a great day

I hope you have taken a look at that unscreened black dirt. I hauled some for a friend a few years ago that had rocks nearly a foot in diameter in it. He talked the seller into two free loads of sceened to go with the four unscreened that he bought.

47farmallM, Thanks, all that area you see won't be all garden, we're going to split it between two places, part of the area you see with the hill will have a 24 X 36 pole building put in this year for tractor, dozer, bobcat storage.the other half of the garden will go to the NE of the clearing (where we originally thought we would put up the building.Where the wall is in the picture we already planted onions in that spot, and the other sand bank on the south will have a short wall and will have plants in there, sort of a raised type garden. We still have some clearing out of the hill on that side and leveling it off,and a short wall to stop any sand from rolling back, but should be a definite improvement over what we used to garden. Thanks for the compliment on our equipment,it sure does beat doing all the work manually or hiring it done.LOL.
Warmest Regards,
LOU & Victor.

Way to go Louis..Now you're gonna get poop on the tractor tires....As if it wasn't ugly enough already...........
