Hi Everyone, I would like a bit of assistance with the operation of my newly fitted rear loader to my MF135. Having fitted a diverter valve so as to be able to operate both the arms and the single bucket arm individually which works fine, I have found that when the bucket is set in position (any) it tends to gradually go up to the max point if allowed and make the pump knock (which I try to avoid, as I don"t think it is doing any good). I am sure it is to do with the draught control on the hydraulics but having tried various positions of the controls without success. Is it possible to disable the draught operation completely when not needed. Any help would be gratefully received :?: :?

Just a question, your tractor has a rocker that the top link fastenes to Hooked to a spring and on a pivot on the bottom? Not that familar with the newer tractors. But for the rear loaders that were made for the Ford 9N, 2N, 8N, NAA and the Ferguson 20 and 30 tractors the loaders fastened to that bottom pin in that rocker and that is how they got the control without the draft throwing the operstion off. If you can see if you can hook to that lower pin, you may have to get a longer one. Of those models I mentioned the Ford 8N & NAA did have a draft-position control but you still hooked to the lower pin. Made a rigid hook up.

Thanks Leroy, the top link from the loader connects to the bottom of the top link bracket on the tractor. If the loader connected to the top (hinge side) of the tractor top link it would eliminate the draught controls intervention. I think this would probably work but the top (hinge side) of the tractor top link also holds the number plate and would need to be modified to be able to put a pin through. Cheeers

Maybe something is loose in the linkage and it's creeping up? You should be able to leave the draft control all the way up and just use the position control to set it at what ever height you want. You can adjust the stop so the position lever doesn't go all the way up too.

Hi,
Appreciate what you are saying but nothing seems that way, I am convinced it is to do with draught option, if you were to unload the bucket the loader would creep up.
Regards
