I am restoring an L model and found that one of my rear wheels is rusted out. The size is 22 inches. I have had no luck locating any source for another wheel Is there anyone out there that could give me some advice where I might find a source of supply. Without the wheel, I am at a standstill.

Helps to know where you are located. In Ca there is a guy that has a bunch of parts. It is called rusty acres. Worth googling.

18 years ago, dad and I rescued an L from the tree line for $25 and the tires and rear rims were shot. I had a set of 11-22 drive truck tires,(Dayton rims) an after cutting the center of the tractor rims out, we welded the Dayton rims to the remaining center. I regrooved the treads, installed the tires and tubes, and after only 10 pounds of air we had the BEST riding cultivating tractor you could want
You Might find 22" Dayton rims at a truck salvage yard, if you go this route

Ebay and the john deere magazines and web sights there was an out fit called ridenors (unsure of spelling)
