Have you ever noticed that when someone goes to the trouble of telling you how "old school" they are that they really meant to say "I'm a pretender"?

Me neither, but I have found that when most folks refer to old school, they tend to fall in the lines of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and if that works for them, then it is cool.

I think my thought process falls into the "old school" category but not in the cool part of it, more of the dumbarse part of it. ...but of course, that's why I'm here. Learning something everyday from some of these fine folks. :wink:

Sounds like your the one who doesn't have a clue. I know I refer to old school off and on and I know what it means and I do it old school, just as my dad and my grand father did many years ago

Theres alot of people who do things the old fashioned way. They dont know any better, or are unwilling to learn to do things a different way, whether it is better or not. I know exactly what your saying, and unfortunatley, yes, there are alot of them here!!!!
