Yep here in Missouri instead of snow it is rain that is closing schools due to the fact the roads are closed. Some areas in Missouri have seen 12 inches of rain in less then 4 days. My area only about 3 or so but that is still to much

Wish we could send it from Ohio down. Dayton not yet breaking the all time April record but in the top 5 wettest months ever.

Down here in southeast Missouri,Reynolds County, we have had 10 inches of rain in last few days. All the schools in the county are closed and the small city of Ellington is being partially evacuated. Poplar Bluff is being threatened by breaking levees. No rain today, maybe it will dry out a bit.

I've closed the farm. I went out and got soaked clear through to my shorts feeding 2 bottle calves and taging and vaccinating a new one. To h3ll with it. The rest of'em can stand there til the rain stops. I've come to the end on my rope with this crap!

Ya bad thing is the weather guessers say we will have 2 or 3 dry days then here it comes again so may dry out a little but not enough before we get it again.

Local weather guy says we have to average about 56 degrees for the rest of the month to avoid this being the coldest April on record.

Fat chance of that- we've had trouble getting to 56 for a high for the day, much less the average.

Still getting rain, but not in prodigious amounts like the midwest. But can't complain too much- I suppose other areas would love to have our weather right now- guess its all relative.

It's just now 1100 Tuesday morning and the sun came out a few minutes ago here at Jasper. Still chance of showers.
Flood watches and warnings until tomorrow.
