being across the "pond" there, how expensive is farm machinery in germany. my neighbor had a guy from germany contact him, bought his lexion combine, grain table and corn head. paid real good money for it. they sent out a crew to completely clean the combine of all dirt chaff and grain, its getting trucked to florida, put on a ship and heading for germany. the guy bought one other lexion, and 2 challengers that are making the trip. seems awful spendy to do this.

stuff can be pretty pricey but I don't know enough to give a good answer. Costs us 300 plus euro to get a horse over here but that prolly doesn't compare. Sure they are paying at least that or double for freight.

Was wondering if a person took the time to REALLY CLEAN the equipment, I mean REALLY CLEAN IT,I;ll bet it has to have a re-do by the shipping master. Was just wondering it that is so. Regards, LOU.

depends on which end you come as :shock:

I missed a zero............
as far as combines, claas lexions up to about 4 years old have prices from 200-500k euro. I have no idea what I'm looking at but there are numbers models after the lexion. lexion 600, 500, etc.
