don"t remember if been talked about before. looking on e-bay there"s a farmall 140, is this dummy for real, 10k for parts? has till 4-22-2011 to buy. did he put a couple extra of 00"s in the price, must have twitchy fingers..lol

Its to keep someone from hitting the buy it now button and closing the auction. I do not know if ebay has caught on or not but it use to be if it didn't sell, no charge. So you put it out there with some silly price. It runs it course and you basicly get free advertising.

Oh and since your parts deal is not related to an auction, there were no fees to pay.

shows you how smart e-bay isn't. should have a flagging system like c-list.. doesn't bother me, i get a kick out of looking at the dumb ads.
