That OC 6 , if it had a diesel and three point on it would have been a spitten image of the one my uncle had and that one row tater digger i could find a home for it real fast.

should I post a picture of it on the Oliver site? It doesnt belong to me,and its not for sale, I just took some random photos when I was helping my neighbor.

Hay Larry,
Can you imagine balancing your arz on the seat of that OC6 all day. That crawler is in really nice shape. We had an Oliver Dealer in the area that sold a lot of OC4s and 6s, but they were the Standard gauge, not wides and most had dozer blades. We sold our share of Case 310s also which shared the same Clark 3spd. transmission.

Years back my uncle had two olivers in two row , one was pulled with the OC 6 diesel and one with the super 88 till they got the first John Beam two row harvester and a year after that they were traded in on two wind rowers one right throw and one left throw . That way we could put six rows thru the harvester at a time . Use to be quiet a deal come harvest time with all the people working . Took seven people just for the harvester two guys running the windrowers and six to eight guys driven the OLD trucks and at least two at the storage barns plus a couple guys tryen to keep up with the break downs.

the farmer that originally owned that had a lot of hills ,I was on his farm today,my neighbor rents the land, I took a few photos , I will post them now.

Spent quite a bit of time in the seat of our OC-4, particularly this time of year or a bit earlier, as we used it a lot during sugaring and for plowing snow. It was a lot more comfortable, however, with a padded seat and armrests--the gas tank was under the seat (you took off the cushion to refuel) and the armrests had hinged tops and compartments that contained the battery in one and a toolbox in the other.

Sure Larry show it to them , I am an OL' liver admirer myself , Thems' the friendly green tractor folx , LOL ...they will be happy to see it , but You Know They have seen 6s ' before .. and sadly , Probably know someone who got maimed or killed running one .. Man ,Thats a dangerous lookin platform , or lackthere of .
