plowed the ground today after a good 1 plus inch of rain

Maybe it's just me but looks like a field cultivator to me as apposed to a plow? Guess it depends on what part of the country you are from as to what "plowing" is.
 

its actually a old dearborn chisel plow with spikes. the hard pan here is so hard that until you break it open using sweeps is worthless.
