Spring is here finally a tornado watch

It was a cold downpour at day break but by noon the sun shone and temp reached and stayed at 74F until sunset.
Still snow in drifts along the creek banks and tree lines.
Heard the frogs peeping tonight for the 1st time this season.
Just hope the tornado watch for Bruce County stays at a watch and doesn't progress to a warning.
Figured out how to program the radio tonight for that automated weather warning alarm.
 

its been hot and windy here in Texas, i love the hot weather but hate the wind. it hit 91 here in dfw today. It was def hot but around 7 the storms started building and now were under a thunderstorm watch until 2.00 am. but that's the life here in Texas, one minute its hot, you blink and then its raining.

Had thunderstorms last night. News report 90mph straight line winds in some places.

Don't think we had any damage, but I won't know until this evening.
 
Had a tornado in town by my parents farm Sunday night. Damage starts a little over a mile from home, and goes for about a mile or so into town and a few blocks wide.

It was only an EF1, but I think 5 or 6 homes were destroyed and hundreds were damaged. Several missing the roof or walls, the school I went to for middle school was missing a part of it's roof (no longer holds classes there due to shrinking class numbers in private school).

100+ year old trees are now cut up for firewood, and some of the worst looking crapshacks stood while nicer looking houses folded.
