7 year old daughters birthday sleepover!!! HELP!!!!

Holy smokes my house is LOUD!! There is 7 little 7 year olds here and they are wound for sound. I think I wanna have a sleep over somewhere else!!

I feel your pain ..i have 4 girls ages 10.9.8.and 7 . Sleep overs slummber parties ,,,ugh ,,I need an escape to the cabin ,,your welcome to come ,,bring beer and steaks ,lol

This probably won't be the only night when she'll interfere with you getting a good night's sleep! Enjoy it; they don't stay young forever!

you better enjoy those sleepovers while you can. Its not long before all those neet little things in life are gone. Those little girls grow up kwick and move on long before you will be ready for it.

I would take 7 , 7yr olds any day over one 14 yr old. Hormones seem to have a way of displacing brains at that age. Enjoy the noise , at 7 it's harmless. Lot more work and worry in 7 more yrs.

Never had girls, all oure were boys, but that is a perfect age. Wait until they are teens--then you can really tear your hair out!!

Yep, probably too late, but just sit back and enjoy it. Yesterday..well...I THINK it was yesterday..my daughter was 7...daddy's girl and cute as a bug on a rug.....tonight she went to her 8th grade formal dance.....she's still cute and still daddy's girl, but those boys seem to be elbowin' in on her priority list lately....how I wish we could go back to 7....

Enjoy it! They are only young once. My twin girls are 19 and my oldest daughter is 31. Wait til they get the car keys.

Not exactly the same but I watched my 14 year old niece, 3 year old nephew, and a 12 week old puppy last night. The pup was back up ready to play at 4am.

Cabin is north of Waukon ,Close to upper Iowa river . lol We stay in Osky at Aunts pheasant hunting , hunt around New Sharon , Thornburg . Lunch n beers at The Junction , or Delta .

Many years ago, when My two boys and one daughter were young, they had a trail around the yard and property they made with trailbikes and atvs.
I was complaining about the dead grass, one day, and my wife said---There will be a day when you will wish you could see that.
Man what a true statement :!:

Amen to that!!
My eldest is now serving in USN and youngest is just "chillin"

He is working but he knows it all, us dumb parents are asking to much of his free time by having him doing chores etc.

Kids spell love as T-I-M-E.
Enjoy it while you can because before you know it they will be grown and on their own.

You guys couldn't get much farther apart that that, Oskalossa to Waukon. Just sent all three the kids 5, 3 and 1.75 yrs to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the night. I'm not missing them yet. lol

i agree the most with Larry@stines because my baby girl is going on 21 and'll be a senior in college this coming fall!! My son (24 on May 2) and his girl are engaged to be married in 10-2012 and I'm wondering- when did they grow up? I know I drink a liitle too much sometimes, but there ain't that many blank pages in my book!

Hey, that's my neck of the woods (sort of)! Pretty area there. I just drove through today taking some stuff down for the Sweeney Consignment Auction in Waukon. I'd like to say I'd bring some beers and steaks down and we could swap basement digging stories, but my third kid is only a few months old, so I'm on a pretty short leash.
