This is what followed me home Sunday (PICS)

This is what mysteriously fallowed me home on Sunday. For some reason they didn't want to be scrapped and since they knew that I am a refuge for unwanted and abandoned machinery, they thought they would adopt themselves into my collection. Poor things!

The first is a 1955 Caterpillar 12 8t Road-grader. Good machine that runs like a top! Drove it home and boy was that fun! I need to get the brakes working and also the pony motor. But other then those things, she is ready to go to work!

The next is a 1951 John Deere B. The engine is stuck and there are some pieces that will need to be replaced. Fun restoration project or great parts tractor

Last is a 1947 Farmall H with a nine speed transmission. Engine stuck. Ambitious restoration project, or great parts tractor.

I am glad I could save these from the scrap pile. All that they ask of me is to save there other siblings that are sitting, abandoned by there owners, waiting for a good home that will protect them from the scrap man.

I will not let them down!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and story!

It's good to see some people doing that. Good for you. Just too many machines being lost to the almighty dollar and going to the scrapper. Not enough people care.

You must have been born with a endless supply
of dollars... Are you married?? Is she Blind??
When do you have the time to find all these
fine pieces??

you may have to change your handle of Cultivator King to include some of these new purchases ! What size shed do you need now ??? ...Larry

Glad you have the desire and means to collect these things. Those items look real nice. At least you seem to be from a more forgiving climate and leaving things sit out doesn't dissolve them. Here in Ohio things dissolve fairly soon through the years.

No, I am not married. I have people that know my interest in this sort of stuff looking for me. And the scrappers in the area tell me what they come across and I buy this kind of stuff from them at iron price.

If I was to drive a roadgrader home, before I did I would have to make sure it had a very good cab on it, The reason the cab would have to be good is because my wife would probably kick me out ,and I would have to sleep in it!

You should have driven faster and outrun them. Now they are going to want all kinds of time and money from you. They might even bite and give you bloody knuckles.

WTG i'm glad to hear and see there is someone else out there who collects these great machines// got any restored yet ?

i'd sure like to see an airial veiw of your place,..every time i look at this site your collecting more.. err..well stuff....good luck with the toys...

Hmmm....I see.
Didnt you buy more stuff a few weeks ago?
Are you setting up an excavating company?

That is a good deal on the grader, if you intend to make some money with it.

Really like the motor grader; you should be able to make some money using it.
