Hi all ran into a siler king 42 3 wheel , is there any real collectable value in these tractors . I own olie, allis, etc but never a silver king.

Thanks

The value is what you put in it I suppose. I have Allis's Mccormick Deerings and a Massey Harris and 1 Silver King. As of right now Ive probaly got the most in the silver king and it dosent even move yet. They are a really neat tractor to see at show's and from what I hear quite the runner on the road.

Doesn't seem to have many being bought or sold to have a good idea of a price range. Im going to go out on a limb and say $2,000-$3,000 for one good shape and running. More if it is a show room shape.. I have one I restored from the ground up. I'd never be able to get back what I put into it.

I think I paid just shy of $1000 for mine on my 17th BD which is Jan 17 and it was 17 below zero at that auction. Tractor was a old restoration and on that cold of a day no way in haite's was it running.

Not a show winner but it was the first tractor I drove in the parade at my local show, and it belonged to a good friend.

I think the year was 84 which would have also put it in the middle of the farm crisis.

And yes the thing really does scoot down the road. I have clocked mine at about 35. They are popular with tractorcade/tractor ride folks for just this reason.
