Grooms men gifts

40 years ago, I received a fine Buck pocket knife from a friend for standing in his wedding. It's in my pocket right now - one of my favorite possesions. The marraige has lasted too. I wish the same for yours Christopher.

I got an nice engraved pocket watch for being a grooms men in a buddy of mine wedding. I really like nice pocket watches so it was great for me. I also like the nice pocket knife idea too.

When I got married 15 years ago there was a guy that made custom knives. I bought 5 total, 4 for the guys standing up and 1 for me.
Real nice, teak handle, 440 C stainless blade 3" long blade, each knife had their initials in it.

I will second the knife/buckknife
i don't remember the website but that's what i got for my groomsmen this july...
had each one personalized...small 3" knife...Buck brand

do what i did...get one for yourself...i use mine just about every day...so do the guys

I picked out tie clips for myself, our honor attendants and ushers and had "Thank you, Love(our names) and (our wedding date)" engraved on the back of theirs. We all matched for one day. It was the one thing I knew none of them had. The beer mugs, flasks, shot glasses, etc. are all nice - I have a whole curio shelf full of the stuff but find myself thinking "that's just to nice to use, I'd hate to wreck it". So there it sits. I suppose I could call up those friends and suggest having a beer or shot together and bring their gift along!!

My best friend and wife got us glass beer stiens with our names etched in. Nice gifts we used that night. What suprised me was his wife who doesn't drink came up with the idea.

I bought my guys one share of stock each. Now they get a check in the mail every quarter for about $.61. It's something they won't forget. Bill

Christopher, When I got married I bought Very nice Schrade (Old Timer)(4 in overall length closed) 3 blade pocket knives for my Groomsmen. Also being raised that Knives were always Business my Groomsmen knew to have a nickel to pay for the Knife, I had a pocket full of pennies to give about $.o3 cents change on the exchange. I gave to Groomsmen & Ushers both! About 8 in all. IMO a Pocket knife is great Groomsmen gift! Hope this helps.

I got married in the spring and my groomsmen and I all fished and hunted together since we were old enough to shoot/ hold a fishin pole so I gave them a gift bag full of fishin tackle...It seems a little redneck in retrospect but my buddies liked it. I also like the idea of a good pocket knife, something like that sticks with a guy.

One of those foam zip up beer coozies for a bottle of beer.......that is what I recieved last wedding. One before that was a nice etched glass mug.....

When I got married, I gave "Tallboy" etched mugs with their names on them....

just last summer, my son-in-law gave the wheel-equipped ice chests to all groomsmen & ushers. Bought all wal mart had in stock. Used my truck to bring them home.

Funny, there weren't 2 more at WallyWorld for Pa & Pa-In-Law !
