The TA has been removed from this tractor. The tractor is equipped with a bush hog 2846 loader connected to the remotes.
Problem: When the loader is used, the tractor dumps hyd oil out through a hole in the housing just behind the hyd. oil filter chamber. The problem does not exist when operating any single cylinder equipment or interal lift. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

If the TA assembly was removed, there may be some seals or plugs that need to be used with the non TA setup to keep the hydraulic fluid inside the tractor. The TA got some lubrication from the hy-tran fluid. Or simply you are missing a cover or plug on the bottom of the clutch housing.

Just exactly which hole are you talking about. There is a hole underneath in the immediate vicinity of the hyd filter that is for draining any leakage past the intenal seals. Then there is a hole just a few inches behind filter right on the side of the housing. That is a hole for mounting different equipment and should be a dead end hole and not leading into the internals. Some one may have popped the casting end of that hole (although I have never seen that on that heavy casting). The returning hydraulic fluid comes down in that general area. Just plug it up. If it is leaking out of the hole underneath, you have a problem. Take top TA cover off and take a look.

The hole is just behind the hydrulic, just before the rear end housing on the right side and appears to be a drain. My problem is: it only leak with the loader under load and continues until approximately 2 gals of oil is expelled. I just operater remote cylinders on a fertilizer spreader and it did not leak at all and the system was full of oil.
