Well be married 54 years ago come April 1st.The tune kept running through my mind as I asked, What will I do? Brings a lot of questions to mind. Some I don't care to dwell on but the wife has put up with me all these years. Should get a medal or some recognition for the greater effort she put into our marriage. Like most good marriages,The ladies are responsible for the solid part of the family holding it together. So here is my tribute to her and any other wives that you guys are still married and together. True love goes a long way. Regards LOU

Yes sometimes more often than than not we tend to take the little woman for granted guess ya can call it settling down to much in a familiarity as nothing can separate a couple to make anything different than today was.

Behind every good man is a better woman Whether she be by our side or or with us in spirit.

Hats off to those women that drudge in the kitchen , take care of our off spring , Us, and after doing the household chores will still find enough energy to help in the barns and fields.

For my sister and her husband's fiftieth, I super glued a pin on the back of two fifty cent pieces. Presented them both saying they both deserved a medal for putting up with each other that long. Maybe a fifty cent piece with 4 pennies attached to the bottom of the half buck?
 
Thanks Lou and congrats on the anniversary. Like some others my wife and I went to our most western state for our 21st. I noticed as we drank our umberalled drinks she was just watching the ocean waves roll in. I asked, what are you thinking. Without hesitation she said if I had killed you when we married I'd be out of prison now.
