* How to Clean the water jacket ??

Hi ALL ,
I'm working on the engine in my Case Vaiw ,{engine was stuck } and took the head off on got it unstuck ...it just took a big hammer and block of wood .. wasn't stuck very tight { thank goodness } I didn't pull the engine ,just took the top end off ... Was cleaning things up and see theres gunk in the water jacket ... it does have a DARK BLACK oil film in it and scale ...
I know I seen on here how to CLEAN a rad. ..
was wondering , is there anything I can do NOW to clean the engine water jacket ??
What can I put in it and clean it out ??

now I need to know .. and can't seem to find how to clean the rad. and engine water ... I know I have it some place ...

Any help will be appreaciate ... THANKS ..

Any of the flushes at auto parts stores do a good job. The real trick is getting the flushing agent out of the engine when you are done. This is why some engine manufacturers don't recommend them. Just drain the coolant, remove the trermost and fill the engine with water, get it warm (way require partial blocking of radiator) then drain radiator. Do this three times, reinstall thermostat, and fill with a mix of 50/50 quality water and antifreeze recommended for your tractor. Job done. Also make sure dogs or other animals are not able to drink the stuff you drain. Antifreeze tastes sweet but will kill an animal.
 
I've had success using a tablespoon of dry dish washer powder detergent - Kind used in dishwashers. Usually do it a couple-three times. Add detergent, run it a few days, drain, repeat. Then a couple of rinses, before installing antifreeze. If you have a lime buildup use a acid based detergent like dairy farmers use to clean milkstone out of glass milk pipelines. Same proceedure.
