I am looking to buy some new tires for my 1954
jubilee I'm restoring and I need some advice on
where to buy them. I know of M.E. Miller and
Friedrich Tire, i have never dealt with them and
just wondering more what everybody's thinks of
these guys? And if you have are there prices
pretty reasonable? Also, If you know of anybody
else that has reasonable prices on tires here in
Southern Minnesota-Northern Iowa buy all means let
me know.

Thanks

Best advice I have for tires is to shop a few local tire shops, whoever is the cheapest for a decent tire, go with them and have them do the mounting work. By the time you buy tires on-line and have them shipped to you, then do all the mounting work yourself, it never pans out to be a better deal than just buying them locally and helping out a business in your community.

I"ve bought from Friedrich and was satisfied. They had a good price. They also deal with Miller. Friedrich is also in Minn.

If you go to Le Sueur swap meet this spring April 29-May 1 I am sure that Friedrich will be there and he sells a lot of tires. Call and get a price and he may even deliver.

CFI in Des Moines IA is my 1st choice. They seem to always have a good price. I've also bought from Tire Town in Shawnee KS.

I will second what is said. Find a local farm tire dealership, make a deal, deliver your tractor to them or have them come to your place. It will make a difference on the cost. Do the tires have fluid in them? Do you want it back if it does, it will make a difference in the cost. I highly recomend you have them put new tubes in the new tires. Will you be getting a field hazzard warentee with the new tires? These are a few things you need to ask. It is far easier to have a tire pro put these on.
