OT - Scrap Iron Prices in MN, WI Area

Does anyone know current prices for scrap iron in central MN or WI?
I'm in south Mississippi and will be traveling that way in the next week or two to pick up a couple of tractors I've bought. With good scrap prices, I've been hauling off a bunch of junk from around the farm to local scrap dealers. As always, you hear rumors of how much higher the prices are somewhere else.
If there is any truth to the stories, would it be worth my time and fuel to take a load with me when I go?
The prices here today are $12 per hundred pounds for unprepared materials (big stuff) and $14.50 for prepared (2' x 5' by 1/4" max).

NT, Sheet Iron/tin $190-$215NT (NT is net ton)
 
Opatz in Holdingford was $200 a ton for prepared & 150 for unprepared last week. But the price can change daily. Best to call ahead.

I guess the carcasses you're planning to haul have no redeeming qualities for restoration or parts sales? Seems like you'd make more selling parts or the whole tractor to someone in need or want....Also, I've made the FL panhandle-Wisconsin run several times a few years back and my fuel bills were pretty high then. (Pulling a 36' 20K trailer.) Hate to think what it would cost today on the external_link energy plan...
 
Called the local yard today- $.10/lb for tin, $.135 for solid steel, and aluminum cans are $.60/lb.

They pay a little less than the big yards, but with them so close we figure it doesn't pay for the extra time & fuel spent to go farther with what we got.
