timing balance shafts on 2030 tractor

How do you time the balance shafts on a 2030 John Deere tractor that was taking apart without marking the 9 gears. I understand you can time the crank and camshaft and injection with a straight edge with no one piston on top dead center.

I made my own line up tool out of a small piece of angle iron and a flat bar. Weld the flat bar to the corner of the angle with equal measurments on each side of the flat bar. It will look like a Y with a long tail when done

I forgot to say, you put the angle against the crank snout and use the tail of the Y you made to align the countershafts.

I just lay a straight edge across the center of the crank hole as well as the cam center hole, turn the cam till the dot is outbound and in line with the center holes of the cam and crank.
