Massey 135 upper lift arms

I posted a question about the play in the lift arms and it sounds like there is too much wear. Next question. It looks like the parts house show the massey and the Ford 800 series have the same arms. Specs say 1.8 Diameter and 37 splines on both. Does anyone know it they do in fact interchange? I found a set of ford for less than one massey arm so was hoping someone could stop me before I waste some money if they dont fit.

Thanks and God Bless

As these tractors age and more and more parts become NLA or too expensive it's going to take some pioneers to take a chance and see if other parts will work.
Maybe you could try before you buy? Hundred Series lift arms should be plentyful at a junk yard as they did not often break.
FWIW, A guy I know is putting a Ford N series lift piston into a MF 40 as he can't find an original. It looked like it would slap right in.
