We have some corn planter plates for sale, both IH and JD. We are in central MN. If someone needs some good used plates at a good price let us know quickly, they will be going down the road in the next day or two.

They are not cast iron, they are plastic. We just had them on ebay for the last week with a buy it now and nothing sold. That's why I'm telling you about them here.

Problem with plastic plates is they are as common as rain...farmers switched to them years ago because the metal plates cost an arm and a leg. Plus machinery dealers did not want to stock so many metal plates while they were busy selling tractors, pickers, etc. Almost every farm auction I go to there are a bunch of plastic plates on the hay wagon with the rest of the odds and ends...and those plates are often worn a bit much. Used plates go for 50 cents; if go higher you can get them new from Lincoln Ag.
