If I was at that auction, that Farmall F20 would have been coming home with me. Very nice looking tractor! Same with the old Celtrac. Actually I would have bought it all! hahaha

I have been looking for and f-20 with foot brakes and road gear just like dad use to have, though I would have probably have made someone pay more for the one at that sale. I will find an old f-20 some day with the right package and my wife will think I am crazy again.

I think I see some people I know! I have to stay away from auctions these days . . . . I just about have all the unused 'treasures' I brought home in the last 10 years cleaned up now . . . .

Thanks for the pictures,I see two idiots the person that owns the tractor backhoe, for having the bucket it the air and the Allis with sickle mower which you can wire a board to...SAFETY.. so children are not in danger...just my opinion...

Means it didn't sell. Probably came from the owner bidding the high bid if it didn't go as high as he wanted.

Nice pictures Larry, your farm machinery sales look very much like the ones here in the UK. On the picture of the old wooden trailer tere looks to be a fertliser spreader wich I believe is a Vicon Varispreader. I used to work at a farm machinery company in the 1960s and we sold large ammounts of those spreaders. MJ

It is your opinion, but generally in an auction these machines are run by wanta-be buyers and started and run during the bidding. When kids are there, it's the responisibility of the parants to watch over them. NOT someone who consigned a peice of equipment to the auction. You must be a lawyer, or work for OSHA.

I don't see anything unusually low about the prices. That is old equipment which is not suitable to farming any more. Collectors , Amish, and hobby farmers are the only people who will buy this equipment....
Much of the older stuff goes to the scrappers now days.

None!!! An example of an early Asian knockoff. They had to look like something that was well known. There was an Importer here in the eastern US., that did a good job of marketing them through a dealer network, and they were a pretty good little tractor. I can't tell you the name of the asian mfg.

There actually was a connection between Satoh and David Brown. The connection was that they were both distributed by the same organization, NEDA. They are the ones that pushed the David Brown change from red to the Orchid and Chocolate Brown. When they decided to distribute the Satoh, they wanted them to look the same.
