WENT TO YESTERDAY'S TRACTOR TODAY

I live about an hour away from Yesterday's Tractor. I got fed up with trying to find a way to fix my leaking gas tank, and didn't want to kill myself doing so either. So, this morning I called YT and paid for the last tank they had at thier store for my Ford 641, and then drove and picked it up. When I walked in,..two nice guys were very busy on the phones taking orders and one of them did manage to say that they would be right with me. Another guy from the back came out and offered to help me and I told him why I was there. He went in the back and came out with the tank, and I also purchased a new cap for the tank. The guy entertained my questions, and was really cool. I won't buy from anyplace else if I can help it. Nice to have a place that I can just drive to and pick up parts and not have to wait for them to be shipped!

Put the tank in, and everything is PERFECT!

Thank You Yesterday's Tractor Co.!! :D

I wish I lived that close to them. I ordered a carb for my C a few years ago and they were real good to me on the phone. Just got done looking on line for parts for a tractor I plan on buying. The tractor is 45 years old but it looks like they got every thing I need. I live within a couple of miles of a competitor of theres but will order from them and pay the freight.

It is actually just an online store, but since it is so close to where I live, I found that time is valuable, called them, and asked if I could come pick the parts up instead of having them shipped. I live in Seabeck, WA, and they are in Port Townsend, WA.

...It's not like I was able to browse around and look at parts or anything. The only area I stepped foot in was the office where what appeared to be where all the ordering is done on the phone. Their warehouse is right there, was dying to ask if I could see it, but didn't.

Wow. I've ordered dozens of parts from them the last 3 years, didn't know they were a actual store! Cool! Great place to get the parts you can't find elsewhere.

Did you get to meet Miss Kim?
I've always wondered what she looks like.
I assume she looks like the Goddess Athena - nobly holding her scepter and occasionally hurling thunderbolts down on YT miscreants.

Not sure, but when I was leaving, a nice looking young lady with brown hair pulled up. I'm pretty sure she wasn't there to get parts for her vintage tractor!

Not nice.
I actually emailed Kim yesterday and sent her a link to this subthread.
She sent me a light hearted reply assuring me that she is in fact a woman along with a picture of her with her mother. (no I wont post it here)
Kim is an attractive woman - of a sort that any guy would be happy to call wife, daughter, sister or mother. So is her mom.

Seabeck- do you know any of the Welzbackers? Staunch Hudsonites. Steve's daughter Hannah went to the Soap Box Derby nationals- she's just cute as a bug. So's her mom.

LOL- clicked on your link, and magic machine said I wasn't authorized to go to that site. Guess it's trying to protect my delicate sensibilities.

Ultradog, please accept it as Kim apparently has, as a joke. It is an exceptionally ugly old hag, that I just happened to see, somewhere, and thought it would be a funny juxtaposition to your fawning picture. If she was offended, she certainly could make it go poof, and if she wanted to post her own picture, then she would!

Sorry Mike, as much as what you say is most likely true,..I do not know them. I love Seabeck, and the saying here is,..."what happens in Seabeck,..stays in Seabeck!"
