WD Hydraulic Pressure

Is there a relief valve or something I can put between my WD and a hydraulic cylinder? I have some dump grain wagons and some other implements and the cylinders are rated at 2500 psi. Im affraid I will blow the seals. I have already blew a hole in 2 hoses. I replaced them with high pressure hoses but I know the cylinder will be next. I put a pressure gauge on my tractor tonight and its pumping at 3600 psi. How can I reduce the pressure to my implements??

Since you are using a remote cyl, you are plugging into the remote coupler on the tractor. Add a hyd valve with a relief valve, like 1500 psi. You need to add a return to sump line so the extra oil can bleed off. On a WD, simple way is to run the return hose to the drain plug under the tractor. Check my post, with pix, from a few days ago, either here, or AC board, or Impl alley...has pix of the setup on my D17, to run low pressure cyl on the hi pressure AC system. Or send email.

My WD already has a return port. Where do I find a relief valve? I have found some ball valves online that will with stand the high pressuse but no relief valves.

You can buy two-way valves with the relief valve built in. Gresen, Cross, maybe Prince are sources.
