I tried the todays tractor board but there dont seem to be much action down there . My friend and nieghbor is looking at a new 4x4 Kubota L4400 . Can anyone tell us the good and bad of this tractor . He is a weekender and will mostly use it to bushhog and till the garden but do want something that will handle a 7 ft. haybine if needed on some rolling ground . I dont want him getting something that cant handle the task . It will help me if he could mow his own hay .

DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL CUT HAY OR NOT BUT IT SURE IS NICE I HAVE PUT 17 HOURS ON MINE AND I LOVE IT I WONDER IF IT WILL PULL MY OLD 10FT DISC MYSELF I GUESS I WILL FIND OUT WHEN IT DRIES UP.

Probably sell 40 a year of that model. Offers more tractor for the money. 7ft. haybine would be on the upper limits I would think. He could get a MX 5100 for about the same money and have a little more tractor <

Not in plowed ground. More like a 8 ft wheel disk. You could pull the 10 ft but not at a speed you would want to drive..

Will not pull the haybine, move to the MX5100 or Grand L with 40 pto hp or more and you'll be good.

My L5030 has 42 pto hp and runs a 9 ft haybine in rolling ground, the MX5100 is about the same size.
