ford tractor

I have a tractor that i cant find the model online. I have found the serial # and model# but nothing mathes what I see online. on the bell housing the top number is 21300D and the bottom # is 36466 it is a ford and i would have to say it is 1950ish

If you scroll down the left side of this page to Serial Numbers and click on that it appears that you have a 1947 8N

HOW are you determining it is about a 1950 Ford going by the numbers on the flywheel housing and the serial # chart on this site considering the the serial # of a Ford of that era is stamped on LH side of the ENGINE BLOCK just below the head, NOT on the flywheel housing.

There would be a CASTING DATE CODE on the casting, which are another matter, altogether, from the serial number or the serial number list.

He needs to go to John Smith's most excellent site and got the CORRECT "identify" information.
IDENTIFY

Model # 21300D
This is going to be a Ford 2000 built between Aug 1962 and the end of 1965.
xx30x tells me it is a light industrial model and should have a solid front axle. The orginal color was Blue and Buff.
xxxx0 tells me it came from the factory with a 4 speed and PTO was not standard equiptment but could have been added as a option.
xxxxxD tells me it has a diesel motor so it will be a 4 cylinder 144 cu in engine. Not the most desirable motor because rebuild parts can be harder to find than most Ford parts.

36466 is the serial #. That makes it a mid Nov 1963 built tractor.
