Looking to purchase some chain to tie down equipment. Is the imported chain any good? Most out there seems to be imported. It has the same ratings but what about quality?

T70 chain that is stamped or has metal tags stating it is T70 chain is what DOT requires. I know other chain can hold a tractor safely but if you are stopped or have an accident you had better have DOT approved chain. I was stopped last summer bringing home a AC D17 I had two chains front and back. I still got a $350 ticket for unsecured load. I was so mad that I took it to court. I lost. I have since replaced all of my chains with T70 chains. I found a deal at FarmTec on a whole half barrel. Worked out to be about twenty dollars a chain. Bought all new USA made binders. Been stopped twice since then passed each time. I think that the DOT is on a kick to enforce this now. I will admit I have seen some real unsafe chains being used to haul loads over the years.
