Picture of Hauling my New Toys (PICS)

Here are some pictures of us hauling the implements that I purchased at an auction on Thursday. It took two trips to get it all home. On the first trip we hauled an International Harvester single disk, an Allis Chalmers 2 Bottom Plow and a Minneapolis Moline 2 Bottom Plow. On the second trip we hauled a 6 Row front mount cultivator and a John Deere 490 4 Row Planter.
Thanks for reading!

Nice pics. I used a plow just like that, works real good. Are you going to get that planter working?

Saved from the scrapper, good job! I'm in NY wish I could find an MM plow to hook behind my tractors, rare breed here.

I hate to say it, but when I see a load like that going down the road around here, I automatically assume it is going for scrap. What an upside down world. Usable tools sold for bargain prices so we can buy useless junk from overseas.

I hope they serve you well in whatever way you use them.

Christopher

I like to see a trailer with handles sticking up all over the load going away from a scrapper area. Old machinery being made useful again makes good sense! Have fun with your new new/old toys.

I can never find stuff like that. Everything I ask about is being saved to FIX UP or used all the time even if it is half buried. What am I doing wrong??

A good friend of mine suffered a sudden death recently. He was a collector of old iron (tow-behind implements and tractors) in CA, on the AZ/CA border.

His family is not interested in it. All his things will be sold individually to pay for the services. I will be checking out the items in two weeks.

Richard, Where are you located in AZ? I will let your know what implements are for sale if you email me your addy.
