My high school's (Seward, Nebraska) girls basketball team just won their third consecutive State Class B championship.

The team has been undefeated for 75 straight games covering three seasons.

They also won the team sportsmanship award.

They must be doing something right!

Congratulations to them.

Just my opinion, but winning the Sportsmanship award is the more important of the two. The championship is the frosting on the cake and well deserved because of the other.

What's interesting is the smallest gal on the team is a Junior, and has played varsity since she was a Freshman.

Everybody loves her, and little as she is she's a real workhorse on the team. One of the Seniors got a basketball scholarship to the University of Nebraska, but this little gal always gets the most applause.
